Server for GE turbines

Efficiently incorporate GE Turbine with OPC Clients

Server for GE Turbines

MatrikonOPC's OPC Server for GE Turbines is an easily accessible software that ensures safe and trustworthy connectivity with the GE Turbine Control System. Through this OPC Server, users have the ability to interact with multiple GE Turbine Controllers including Mark V, Mark VI, Mark Vie, Mark V LM, and Mark V B.

The OPC Server communicates with GE Speed tronic Mark V and Mark VI turbine controllers through GE Drive System (GEDS) Standard Messages, or GSM protocol. This guarantees efficient two-way data transfer, with the ability to manage a large number of tags quickly. It further incorporates GE alarms and events (including SOE) for centralized monitoring and efficient problem-solving with precise millisecond timestamp accuracy.

The Matrikon OPC  Server for GE Turbines connects to gas and steam turbine controllers through communication with the gateway, typically an HMI server, using various methods.

The protocol GE Industrial Systems (GEIS) Standard Messages (GSM) Protocol.
An immediate link to GE Mark V controllers through an ARCNET network.
An immediate link to GE Mark VI controllers via the UDH network.

Integration of alarms and events

The OPC Server for GE Turbines provides alarm and event support through OPC for centralized alarm management. DCS consoles have the capability to remotely acknowledge turbine alarms. The below advanced alarm features are supported by the OPC Server.

Turn on and off certain alarms using OPC control items.
Access alarm data via OPC DA Items.
Enables process, diagnostic alarms, and logic events through basic OPC A&E.
Acknowledgment of turbine alarm is available for Mark V and Mark VI.

Ensure the safety and efficiency of your GE Turbine control system by utilizing MatrikonOPC's reliable OPC Server.

Make sure communication is dependable for all GE Turbine Controllers - improve your system integration now!

OPCMark, by MatrikonOPC, offers connectivity to all GE Turbine Controllers, allowing users to securely and dependably monitor, control, and share turbine system data with various OPC-supported applications like Historians, HMIs, and SCADA systems
