The X-12s™ eight-relay expansion module is used with an X-400™ or X-600M™ controller. The relays are 2.5A Form-A (SPDT) with commons tied together in two groups. A removable terminal connector provides connections to the relays. One or more X-12s expansion modules can be connected with a ribbon cable that provides both power and communication.

An X-400 or X-600M connected with an expansion module like the X-12S provides an easy, flexible, and reliable way to monitor and control systems and devices over a network. The X-12S is a great fit in applications with moderate loads, including alarm panels, low-power LED lighting, and simple dry contact closures.
