With it, you can monitor for water leaks around water heaters and in server rooms, bathrooms, and areas near water tanks or pipes. The XW-112 is a self-contained device that doesn’t require any additional equipment or software to run—all you need is a local router to enable email notifications.

Equipment Monitoring
The below illustration shows how you could use the XW-112 to monitor for water leakage in a server room. In this example, the XW-112 is mounted in a dry area near the source of water, above the water pipes to ensure it remains dry in the event of a leak. The sensor is mounted on the ground where water would most likely accumulate.
Once mounted, the next step is to set up the XW-112 using its simple web-based dashboard. Connect to the local WiFi network and input all the information required for email notifications. Since the XW-112 isn’t dependent on cloud services or servers, it is necessary to input an email server name, login, password, etc.
