BAPCO Support ContractComprehensive PI System Support, Maintenance, and Enhancement Services |
The contract scope included executing system upgrades, optimizing data interfaces, and implementing advanced cybersecurity measures, most notably the deployment of Data Diode technology to ensure secure, one-way data flow between operational and business networks. This implementation was crucial to meeting stringent industry and corporate cybersecurity standards, protecting BAPCO’s critical data while enabling safe analytics and reporting.
EMI also conducted regular system audits and proactive maintenance to identify potential issues before they impacted operations. Tag management and system tuning were carried out systematically to maintain data accuracy and integrity, allowing BAPCO’s users to trust and rely on the PI System data. An integral part of the support contract involved knowledge transfer and capacity building. EMI delivered tailored training workshops and hands-on support for system administrators and end-users, increasing internal competency and reducing dependency on external support. Additionally, EMI supported the implementation of the PI Asset Framework (AF), enabling BAPCO to better organize and analyze asset-based data.
