SE- ADNOC Onshore Jebel Dhanna Murban Crude Export Project

In 2025, EMI was awarded a contract through Schneider Electric to support ADNOC Onshore’s Jebel Dhanna Murban Crude Export project. The project focused on enhancing the existing FDIS system by configuring 270 PI tags, deploying 15 custom PI Vision graphics, and integrating the PI Asset Framework (AF) to improve real-time operational visibility and control. The team started with a comprehensive kickoff meeting and requirements gathering, followed by system architecture design tailored to ADNOC’s needs. The configuration of the PI tags utilized the existing OPC interface to ensure smooth data transfer to the PI servers.

The PI Vision graphics were developed to provide clear and dynamic visualization, aligned with operational requirements. Key challenges included ensuring accurate tag configuration, synchronizing remote and offsite work to meet timelines, and delivering complete documentation that complied with ADNOC and Schneider Electric quality standards. EMI overcame these through meticulous system design, thorough testing, and close coordination.

The project concluded successfully with the integration of all 270 tags, deployment of 15 PI Vision graphics, and a fully configured PI Asset Framework hierarchy, enabling enhanced monitoring and decision-making capabilities. The solution passed Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) with full client approval and was delivered with detailed documentation for future use.
