InfoPath Forms Data Automation

EMI also delivered a transformative automation project aimed at streamlining laboratory data management for NATPET. The project involved developing a custom application capable of extracting complex XML data from SharePoint InfoPath forms and integrating it efficiently into SQL Server and the PI System. This automation addressed critical challenges such as parsing structured XML data accurately, mapping it to the correct PI tags, and ensuring consistency across different systems.

EMI configured PI tags to receive automated laboratory data entries and established a reliable RDBMS interface to enable real-time data transfer from SQL Server to the PI System. The entire pipeline was thoroughly tested and validated to ensure accuracy, reliability, and operational efficiency. As a result, the automation eliminated manual data entry errors, accelerated laboratory workflows, and enabled timely updates to the PI System, significantly improving NATPET’s data management capabilities. The project was completed successfully, meeting all objectives and earning high client satisfaction due to its impact on operational efficiency and data accuracy.
