Qatar Gas – PI System Maintenance & Support (POIS/RTIS)

Since 2019, EMI has been entrusted by Qatar Gas to provide end-to-end maintenance and support for their mission-critical POIS/RTIS PI infrastructure. To ensure seamless 24/7 system operation across both onshore and offshore assets, EMI deployed a dedicated on-site resident engineer responsible for daily monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and coordinating all PI-related activities.

Operating within the framework of Qatar Gas’s strict IT and cybersecurity standards, EMI handled preventive and corrective maintenance, supported system upgrades, managed backups, and maintained high availability of the PI High Availability (HA) architecture. The resident engineer served as the bridge between internal teams, EPCs, and third-party vendors, ensuring smooth integration and continuous system improvement.

Through regular system health checks, patch implementation, and emergency incident response, EMI consistently maintained high levels of uptime and data reliability.
