ADNOC PI Vision and AF

for Chemical Injection Project 
Between 2022 and 2023, EMI was awarded two key projects with ADNOC to improve data management and visualization both Onshore and Offshore in the UAE. The Onshore scope focused on building a detailed PI Asset Framework (AF) hierarchy across multiple sites, embedding complex calculations, and integrating these into PI Vision dashboards to enhance operational insights.

Offshore, the focus was on developing data validation workflows with end-users and multidisciplinary engineering teams, optimizing reservoir and well monitoring for improved production efficiency. Challenges included managing diverse requirements from multiple sites and units, integrating advanced calculations into AF and reflecting them correctly in dashboards, coordinating with various offshore teams, and ensuring data integrity for critical decision-making. EMI tackled these by conducting thorough onsite workshops, designing robust AF structures, mapping calculations into intuitive dashboards, and deploying tailored validation workflows. This fostered cross-disciplinary collaboration and delivered enhanced monitoring and data reliability across ADNOC’s operations.
