AlMasaood-Fertiglobe Yearly Support ContractFor the period 2025-2026, EMI was awarded the annual Support and Engineering Services contract by AlMasaood for Fertiglobe operations across the UAE and Egypt. This contract ensures continuous optimal performance, maintenance, and enhancement of the PI System infrastructure, delivering reliable and secure data management and visualization services critical to fertilizer production and process control. |
EMI provides 10 onsite support days per site annually, complemented by year-round remote engineering support to maintain system health. The engagement includes comprehensive system audits covering architecture, backup, interface configurations, and cybersecurity controls. The team applies AVEVA best practices for upgrades, tuning, and performance optimization while collaborating closely with Fertiglobe’s Telecom and IT Security teams to safeguard network connectivity and strengthen cybersecurity posture.
Enhancements such as upgrading PI software, configuring tags, developing PI Vision dashboards, and refining PI Asset Framework models are all part of the continuous improvement process. Preventive maintenance tasks—including OS patching, antivirus updates, and time synchronization—are regularly performed to ensure system stability and availability. Workshops and detailed service reports further support user awareness and system usability.
Through this comprehensive approach, EMI has helped Fertiglobe sustain high availability, improve operational visibility, reduce cybersecurity risks, and streamline maintenance across multi-country operations, thereby enabling scalable and resilient growth.
