AVEVA-ADNOC Gas Processing

DAHS Requirement Emission PI Services
In 2025, EMI was awarded a project by AVEVA to provide PI System services supporting ADNOC HQ’s Air Emission Monitoring System (AEMS). The project focused on designing and implementing a comprehensive PI Asset Framework (AF) structure to cover environmental monitoring across the Habshan, Habshan5, and Ruwais sites. EMI configured approximately 300 new PI tags as attributes in the AF hierarchy and implemented 1,000 calculations and analyses following customer-specific logic to ensure precise environmental data handling.

To support integration with ADNOC HQ’s AEMS, EMI configured the PI Web API to securely expose critical data, enabling automated data sharing and compliance tracking. Visualization tools including two PI Vision displays and one PI Datalink report were developed to enhance real-time monitoring and reporting.

The project involved remote kickoff, requirements gathering, and ongoing support, including training sessions and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to guarantee full operational readiness. Despite the challenge of translating complex environmental requirements into scalable AF structures and managing extensive calculations, EMI delivered a robust, scalable, and maintainable solution that strengthened ADNOC’s environmental compliance and monitoring capabilities.
